Tammy Cochran is one of the
finest female country singers to emerge in the new millennium. She
scored her breakout Top Ten hit “Angels In Waiting” in 2002; the video
for that song was in heavy rotation at CMT; she followed this up with
two Top Twenty country radio hits and extensive touring averaging 120
dates a year. Tammy's personal story of losing two brothers to cystic
fibrosis, a story told by “Angels In Waiting,” led to major media
visibility as she became national spokesperson for the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation, was featured in Family Circle Magazine and made a guest
appearance on Billy Ray Cyrus' PAX television show “Doc.” Where I Am, Tammy's third album, marks a major step forward in her artistic development as she wrote or co-wrote all the songs. Standouts include her poignant song “Nobody’s Home,” which will resonate with thirty-something women everywhere and “So Long,” which kicks off the album with sparkling country pop-rock. |
