Hampton Callaway is widely considered to be the finest living jazz-cabaret
singer,beloved for her starring role in the Broadway hit "Swing,"
for which she won the Theatre World award.She is also a Tony Award nominee
and has appeared frequently on such national television shows as The
Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Showand many
more. As a concert performer, Ann is constantly visible,having appeared
many times at Lincoln Center,The Regency Hotel and virtually every top
cabaret venue in the world. She also has had great success as a songwriter:
she wrote and performed the theme to the TV show "The Nanny" as well
as several songs recorded by Barbra Streisand and won the Johnny Mercer
ASCAP Songwriting Award.
